A fiddler from Newfoundland, a piper from the Eastern Townships of Quebec, and a strummer from Antigonish, Nova Scotia walk into a wooden hall and that's how Marrow Bones was born.

An eclectic Canadian roots ensemble composed of best-friends Mary Beth Carty (accordion, guitar, bones, voice, foot-stomp), Colin Carrigan (fiddle, mandolin, bouzouki), and Roy MacLaren (whistles, banjo, pipes).

The trio brings passion, groove and a medley of tune sets and unusual songs to every show!

An energetic, multi talented artist, Ray Knorr grew up playing Canadian Old Time and Métis fiddle in his family band.

Playing across Canada for festivals, camps and competitions introduced him to many additional fiddle styles, and he now draws influences from French Canadian, Irish, Cape Breton, Scottish, and American Old Time to bring joyful performances to the stage.
